Mayo McDonough

Former Executive Director of the BC Green Party

As Executive Director of the Green Party of BC, I worked closely with Karin Lengger for almost 3 years. It was a time of transition for the Party as what started as an environmental movement became a professional political organization. Karin was instrumental in providing the financial and operational infrastructure and strategy that became a stable foundation for the Party. She went beyond all expectations and helped to mentor, support and educate candidates and party members on what it takes to operate successful campaigns on a tight budget.

Karin hits the road running – she understands the goal of a project and digs deep to provide the data and information that will help shape a successful initiative. She is a consummate professional and a pleasure to work with –

Francine Carlin

Chair, Salt Spring Island Community Economic Commission and Founding Chair, Rural Islands Economic Partnership.

Karin Lengger approaches every task with tremendous abilities. I worked directly with Karin on a start-up project involving many different facets of the regional food industry on Vancouver Island. She was tasked with building a team by overseeing and molding seven new employees from various backgrounds into an effective team. We often dealt with highly complex matters that had many interdependent sub tasks, so I saw firsthand her range of capabilities. In addition, she was the liaison to the board of the organization.

Karin’s incredible adaptability allowed each member of our team to deal directly with various stakeholders to enable their unique skills to round out their appointed tasks. She was able to work effectively with us as a co-worker by allowing us to contribute ideas and approaches that advanced the goals set out by the organization.
